PlaySafety Training Group is an educational provider that specialises in playground safety inspection and standards training throughout Australia with a focus on compliance, quality, and user friendly courses.

Our aim is to ensure safe play for children and to mitigate risk for the councils, schools, and organisations in charge of play areas.

Our senior trainers have been technical members of the playground standards committee CS-005 since its inception.

Total Training Group, RTO Code: 45588 is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) who holds registration with the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).

ASQA is the national regulator for Australia’s vocational education and training sector.

Bryce Dodds

As well as being an RPii Annual Inspector Bryce has a long history in the development and design of playgrounds for many local authorities. Providing project management, inspection, assessment, playground impact testing and instruction.

Bryce is also a member of the Australian Playground Standards Committee CS-005, providing technical advice and assistance in developing new standards.

Kay Lockhart

Kay is a play and safety specialist with over two decades of successful experience in training and education. Her career has included nursing, early childhood teaching, occupational health and safety, management.

She has worked with all levels of government, collaborated with organisations across the playground industry, has been a representative on many committees and working groups including Standards Australia. A strong believer in risk benefit, Kay regularly campaigns to promote the inclusion of challenging and nature based playspaces in Australia.

Rob Williams

Rob has been responsible for 18 years for regional Councils whole of region asset management and maintenance delivery for Parks Infrastructure, playgrounds, inspections, maintenance, capital projects involving refurbishment, augmentation or upgrade and compliance. Rob has extensive experience in delivering training programs for councils for many years.
